In a major push to promote the commercialisation of indigenous scientific innovations, four technologies developed by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) have been licensed to industry. The development is aimed at facilitating the transfer of cutting-edge research from laboratories to the market and encouraging wider adoption of home-grown technologies.
Alongside the technology licensing, a Smart Rural Water Monitoring Technology was commercially launched to support better water resource management in rural communities. The technology is expected to enable more effective monitoring of water-related parameters and assist stakeholders in making informed decisions for efficient and sustainable water management.
The initiatives reflect CSIR’s commitment to strengthening the connection between scientific research, industry and society.
