The Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully conducted Exercise ‘Vayushakti-26’ at the Pokhran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The exercise showcased the IAF’s operational preparedness, precision strike capability and integrated air power operations. A wide spectrum of aircraft, including frontline fighter jets, transport aircraft, helicopters and force multipliers, participated in the exercise. The platforms executed coordinated missions in a realistic combat environment, demonstrating day and night operational capability.
During the exercise, IAF showcased its capability to execute complex, integrated air operations within a dynamic and realistic battlefield environment. Earlier in the day, Hon’ble President also undertook a sortie in the indigenously developed LCH Prachand, reflecting India’s growing self-reliance in defence manufacturing under the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
Exercise ‘Vayushakti-26’ reaffirms the Indian Air Force’s commitment to maintaining a high state of combat readiness and its resolve to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces witnessed the exercise.
