Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, on Tuesday launched the UPI–UPU Integration Project at the 28th Universal Postal Congress in Dubai, marking a historic step in global financial connectivity.

The project integrates India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) with the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) Interconnection Platform, enabling faster, safer, and low-cost cross-border remittances through the worldwide postal network spanning 192 member countries.
