South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has partnered with the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust to establish a Healthcare Skill Development Centre in Chhattisgarh at a cost of ₹35.04 crore.The project aims to strengthen healthcare manpower by providing skill-based training to youth in various healthcare-related disciplines. The centre will focus on developing trained professionals to meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare workers in the region.

 

The initiative is being implemented under SECL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and aligns with the government’s broader objectives of enhancing healthcare infrastructure and employment opportunities in Chhattisgarh.

 

Officials said the collaboration with the Sri Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust will ensure high-quality training and capacity building, leveraging the trust’s experience in healthcare and education services. Once operational, the centre is expected to contribute significantly to improving healthcare delivery and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local youth.
