In a first-of-its-kind record for the Indian education system, more than three lakh schools across the country came together to participate in India’s largest-ever live school innovation challenge, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving on an unprecedented scale. The historic event, organized under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell in collaboration with state education departments, NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission, and multiple academic partners, witnessed active participation from over two crore students representing every corner of the nation.
The challenge aimed to cultivate innovation-driven thinking among students from classes 6 to 12, encouraging them to ideate solutions for real-world issues in fields such as clean energy, health, technology, agriculture, and sustainability. Using digital platforms, students joined live sessions, presented prototypes, and interacted with mentors and experts from leading institutions including IITs, NITs, and innovation hubs. The event showcased how the power of imagination, when guided by education and technology, can transform the nation’s approach to learning.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lauded the initiative, describing it as “a testimony to the transformative power of India’s young minds.”
