he Technology Development Board (TDB), under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), has extended financial support to Acrannolife Genomics Private Limited for the indigenous manufacturing of advanced In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) kits.
The project aims to strengthen domestic capabilities in producing high-quality diagnostic solutions, reducing reliance on imports and enhancing self-reliance in the healthcare sector.
The supported initiative focuses on developing and manufacturing advanced IVD kits for accurate and rapid disease detection. These kits are expected to meet global quality standards and cater to both domestic and international markets.
According to officials, the initiative aligns with the Government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and aims to promote innovation-driven entrepreneurship in the biotechnology and healthcare sectors.
The support from TDB will enable scaling up of manufacturing infrastructure, fostering technological advancement, and ensuring affordability and accessibility of diagnostic tools across the country.
