The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has provided healthcare services to more than 4,000 patients and performed 365 sight-restoring surgeries during a Mega Multi-Speciality Medical Camp organised at Rairangpur. The medical camp marked a significant initiative towards improving access to quality healthcare, particularly for people requiring specialised medical attention. A team of medical professionals from the Armed Forces Medical Services provided consultations, diagnostic support and treatment across multiple medical specialities.
One of the major highlights of the initiative was the successful completion of 365 sight-restoring surgeries, bringing renewed hope to patients suffering from vision-related problems. The camp also provided an opportunity for people to access multi-speciality healthcare services under one roof, reducing the challenges associated with travelling long distances for medical consultations and treatment.
The initiative reflects the Armed Forces Medical Services’ commitment to extending medical assistance beyond military establishments and contributing to community welfare through humanitarian healthcare services. The large-scale participation and medical interventions underscore the importance of collaborative efforts in delivering accessible and quality healthcare to underserved communities.
