The Indian Navy has inducted the third 25-ton Bollard Pull Tug, ‘Ashva’ (Yard 337), at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam. This tug, built under the Make in India initiative, is designed to enhance operational capabilities by assisting naval ships in berthing, unberthing, and other harbor operations. Equipped with advanced propulsion and towing systems, ‘Ashva’ will play a crucial role in supporting fleet movements. Its induction marks another step toward strengthening the Navy’s logistics and operational infrastructure.
