What is an air train?

An Air Train is an automated, elevated rail service typically found at airports, designed to transport passengers between terminals, parking lots, rental car centers, and nearby transit hubs. It operates driverless,

providing quick and convenient connections, reducing congestion, and enhancing airport accessibility.

Why Delhi Airport?

Delhi airport is India’s busiest hub and handles over 7 core passengers annually and will double to over 13 crore in the next 6-8 years. It is estimated 25% of travelers at IGIA will be transit flyers, making it a necessity for ensuring seamless transfers between T1 and T3/2.
