Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, inaugurated a newly constructed 30-bedded Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital at Kala Amb in Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh, on May 31, 2025. Built at a cost of approximately ₹100 crore, the facility is designed for future expansion to 100 beds.

The hospital is set to benefit over 100,000 ESI beneficiaries in Sirmaur and neighboring districts. It offers both outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) services across various departments, including general medicine, surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and dental care. The facility is equipped with modular operation theatres, a medical gas pipeline system, and other advanced medical infrastructure.

This inauguration marks a significant step in strengthening the ESIC network under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to honor the dignity of India’s workforce and provide quality healthcare services to all workers.
